Hi! My name is Skylar Franklin and I’m a Studio Arts major pursing a Bachelor’s Art Degree at the University of Arizona. I was invited by Leah to help out during her internship. With this site I was able to provide a well-constructed logo design that not only goes with the idea of the project, but provides the face of this product with a picture our target audience can now be familiar with.
My Story
When I began this logo project, I wrote down specific information Leah gave me. This included her title designs, color schemes, themes, scaling, and more. Then, I used that information to create 3-4 different logo options to choose from. Finally, I went back to make any edits needed.
I was Ad Cats' graphic designer and social media planner where we made connections with nearby communities to help their business. I hope to grow my graphic design business. I enjoy shopping, running, spending time with friends and loved ones, illustrating, and drinking coffee! The one thing I want to say to upcoming students is that this next chapter of life will not always be easy, but if you always push through those curveballs and have confidence in yourself, you’ll do great things!
