Hi there! My name is Leah Pollock and I graduated from the University of Arizona in Spring 2024. I worked with Tech Core as a Summer 2022 Intern within the data science and visualization pillar. There, I was able to bring my ideas to life with the help of Gabe Grateron, Joshua Watkins, and Skylar Franklin.
My Story
I was inspired to simplify the campus navigation process for new UA students. By combining my tech skills with prior living experiences at the university, I constructed this map with a unique focus on the student experience. Passion motivated me as I poured creativity and ideas into this product, collecting feedback along the way. As the project lead and visionary, I led the development while also working on the technical side of the map and its supporting web pages.

As a Management Information Systems major at the Eller College of Management, I hope to work in cybersecurity, information technology, AI, or the consulting industry in the future. I enjoy traveling, running, baking, listening to music, spending time with friends and family, and photographing nature. This is my advice to new students: find ways to be a continuous learner not only in academics but in everything you do!
