Gabe Grateron

Hello, my name is Gabe Grateron and I am an instructor in the Tech Core internship. I focus on teaching data analysis and visualization. Leah and Josh came up with an ingenious idea of recreating the campus map for the specific use case of tailoring it to first-year and transfer students. While they did the technical work and design, I helped to troubleshoot and provide feedback along the way.
My Story
Currently, I teach entrepreneurship and marketing at Eller. Having attended the University of Arizona for both undergrad and grad school, I have a passion for the university and Tucson so any tools that help students have a better experience while on campus are of great value. I also work for various tech and real estate companies locally.
Working with Leah and Josh on this project has been a great experience and hopefully this tool allows students to explore some new areas of the city they were unaware of and just provides a better campus experience for them.
